Will Grundy County have a snow day?

How much snow it takes here

Grundy County averages 4.3 inches of snow a year, and its average winter temperature is 40.7°F (NOAA 1991–2020 normals). Schools in places like this typically close at about 1 inch of snow, sooner if there is ice or the snow falls during the morning commute. Even a light glaze of ice can shut schools down in an area that rarely sees snow.
